By day, Vicky Dreiling is a market research analyst for a Fortune 500 computer manufacturer. At night, she busily scribbles comedic Regency historical romance novels. Frequent business trips to the UK allowed her to indulge her passion for all things Regency England. She is, however, truly sorry for accidentally setting off a security alarm in Windsor Castle. That unfortunate incident led her British colleagues to nickname her “Trouble.”

After her nosey boss tricked Vicky into confessing her secret nocturnal activities, word of mouth spread faster than a computer virus. Soon her marketing colleagues besieged her with emails and instant messages demanding to know when her Bachelor in Regency England novel would appear on the bookshelves. To get them off her back, she finished the novel and promptly sent it off to literary agents, one of whom sold her debut novel in a 3-book deal to Grand Central Publishing. HOW TO MARRY A DUKE is slated for publication in January 2011.

Vicky graduated magna cum laude from the University of Houston with degrees in English literature and marketing. When she’s not jetting across the pond, Vicky shares her Texas home with her daughter and a spoiled mini-lop rabbit that lives in a slightly gnawed cardboard cottage.
