It took Bronwyn Jameson forty
years to discover what she wanted to be when she grew up. Love of
animals drew her to vet, but blood and gore sent her into rapid
retreat. She tried journalism and loved the writing but hated the
constrictions. (What do you mean, stick to the facts?) Dabbled in
computer training, but who can train a computer?
Then, on the morning of her fortieth
birthday, she started writing a romance novel and - finally - found
what she'd been looking for. Writing romance is THE best way to
spend one's days; fellow romance writers are THE best friends imaginable. Five years and several manuscripts, many contests, and
much rewriting later, she sold her first book to Silhouette Desire.
She credits that sale with all she learned through membership of
Romance Writers of Australia, New Zealand, and America.
Bronwyn lives in the Australian
farming heartland with her husband of twenty years and three school-age
sons who manage to fill most of her non-writing time. She loves
